Strapt is the first intelligent tampon dispenser that was created to make feminine hygiene more accessible by reimagining the vending experience and incentivizing businesses to adopt the dispenser into their facilities. Typical dispensers are unsanitary, outdated, and unreliable. Strapt looked to solve these problems by improving accessibility by making the dispenser both cash and hands-free. The Plus team worked with Strapt to design and develop the user experience and visual design language, which had to account for a wide range of varying public restroom décor styles. Plus also developed functional engineering breadboards and limited run alpha prototypes for field testing and system validation.
